Die folgenden Ereignisse trugen sich am 18.10. in der Wrestlinggeschichte zu:
Ereignisse
1993: Blutige Prügelei zwischen Arn Anderson (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=134) und Sid Vicious (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=82). Hierzu der Text aus unserer Shoots-Rubrik: Nach einem neunstündigen Flug von den Vereinigten Staaten zum Manchester Airport, der ersten Veranstaltung auf der gerade beginnenden Englandtour der WCW (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=4) und einer dreistündigen Busfahrt versammelten sich ein paar der WCW-Wrestler in einer Hotelbar in Blackburn, um noch ein paar Biere zusammen zu trinken. Zwischen einigen der Wrestler entbrannte eine hitzige Diskussion, warum die WCW nicht so erfolgreich war, wie sie es in ihren Augen eigentlich sein sollte. Vor allem Sid ließ seinem Unmut über die Probleme der WCW freien Lauf und machte dafür einige Leute verantwortlich. Er selbst war natürlich eines der positivsten Dinge an der WCW. Arn Anderson nahm Sid dessen Sprüche übel und es entbrannte ein Streit der beiden, der von den anderen Wrestlern geschlichtet werden mußte. Danach gingen beide Wrestler auf unterschiedlichen Wegen zu ihren Hotelzimmern. Vicious hatte offenbar das Gefühl, als Verlierer aus der Diskussion hervorgegangen zu sein. Er brach ein Stuhlbein in der Lobby ab und er rannte zu Andersons Zimmer, wo er mit dem Stuhlbein gegen die Tür schlug und Anderson lauthals beleidigte. Als er merkte, dass er damit nicht weiterkam, warf Sid das Stuhlbein in Richtung der Lobby und ging von Andersons Zimmer weg zu seinem Zimmer. Plötzlich kam Anderson mit einer Schere in der Hand aus seinem Raum gestürmt. Anderson stach mehrfach mit der Schere auf Sid ein, bevor der ihn überwältigen konnte. Sid flippte aus und er trat ein paar mal fest auf Anderson ein, bis die Manager ihn wegziehen konnten. Etwas später wurden beide Männer ins Krankenhaus gefahren, wo dann die Polizei die Zeugenaussagen aufnahm. Anderson und Sid schwiegen jedoch beide beharrlich. Die Story stand am nächsten Tag in allen englischen Zeitungen und Anderson und Sid wurden von der WCW nach Hause geschickt. Vicious, der eigentlich als nächster den WCW World Heavyweight Title (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=titles&titel=21) gewinnen sollte, wurde kurz darauf entlassen und es dauerte bis zum Jahr 1999, dass er nochmal von der WCW verpflichtet wurde.

Hierzu der Text aus unserer Shoots-Rubrik: Nach einem neunstündigen Flug von den Vereinigten Staaten zum Manchester Airport, der ersten Veranstaltung auf der gerade beginnenden Englandtour der WCW (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=4) und einer dreistündigen Busfahrt versammelten sich ein paar der WCW-Wrestler in einer Hotelbar in Blackburn, um noch ein paar Biere zusammen zu trinken. Zwischen einigen der Wrestler entbrannte eine hitzige Diskussion, warum die WCW nicht so erfolgreich war, wie sie es in ihren Augen eigentlich sein sollte. Vor allem Sid ließ seinem Unmut über die Probleme der WCW freien Lauf und machte dafür einige Leute verantwortlich. Er selbst war natürlich eines der positivsten Dinge an der WCW. Arn Anderson nahm Sid dessen Sprüche übel und es entbrannte ein Streit der beiden, der von den anderen Wrestlern geschlichtet werden mußte. Danach gingen beide Wrestler auf unterschiedlichen Wegen zu ihren Hotelzimmern. Vicious hatte offenbar das Gefühl, als Verlierer aus der Diskussion hervorgegangen zu sein. Er brach ein Stuhlbein in der Lobby ab und er rannte zu Andersons Zimmer, wo er mit dem Stuhlbein gegen die Tür schlug und Anderson lauthals beleidigte. Als er merkte, dass er damit nicht weiterkam, warf Sid das Stuhlbein in Richtung der Lobby und ging von Andersons Zimmer weg zu seinem Zimmer. Plötzlich kam Anderson mit einer Schere in der Hand aus seinem Raum gestürmt. Anderson stach mehrfach mit der Schere auf Sid ein, bevor der ihn überwältigen konnte. Sid flippte aus und er trat ein paar mal fest auf Anderson ein, bis die Manager ihn wegziehen konnten. Etwas später wurden beide Männer ins Krankenhaus gefahren, wo dann die Polizei die Zeugenaussagen aufnahm. Anderson und Sid schwiegen jedoch beide beharrlich. Die Story stand am nächsten Tag in allen englischen Zeitungen und Anderson und Sid wurden von der WCW nach Hause geschickt. Vicious, der eigentlich als nächster den WCW World Heavyweight Title (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=titles&titel=21) gewinnen sollte, wurde kurz darauf entlassen und es dauerte bis zum Jahr 1999, dass er nochmal von der WCW verpflichtet wurde.
