2002: Vince McMahon (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=131) stellte den neuen General Manager für RAW vor und rief zur Überraschung der Fans Eric Bischoff (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=248) heraus. Kein Fan hätte jemals erwartet, die beiden früheren Erzfeinde Arm in Arm dastehen zu sehen. Auch die Wrestler waren überrascht. Bischoff hatte den halben Tag in einer Limousine vor der Halle gewartet, damit ihn niemand sieht und auch vorher keine Gerüchte ins Internet kommen. Bischoff sprach bei seiner ersten Rede über die langen Montagskriege zwischen WWF (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=3) und WCW (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=4) und versprach, das "E" in World Wrestling Entertainment zu bringen. Ein ganz ähnliches Szenario war schon einen Monat zuvor entworfen worden, als man Vince Russo (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=555) kurzzeitig zurückbringen wollte (Russo arbeitete sogar zwei Wochen lang backstage mit, verließ World Wrestling Entertainment aber nach viel Ärger mit den anderen Bookern in Richtung NWA-TNA (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=7)). McMahon fand die Idee so gut, dass er sie für Bischoff verwendete. Eric erzählte später in einem Interview, dass man über dritte Personen sogar schon seit etwa einem Jahr in Kontakt stand, dass man aber erst wenige Wochen zuvor direkten Kontakt hatte und viele Streitigkeiten aus der Vergangenheit aus dem Weg räumen konnte.
