1949: Gorgeous George (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=1246) (George Wagner) gewann eine Gerichtsverhandlung und erreichte damit, dass der Wrestler Joe Arena aus Milwaukee den Namen "Gorgeous George" nicht mehr benutzen durfte.
1998: Steven Regal (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=132) führte Bill Goldberg (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=21) bei Nitro vor und sorgte für seine Entlassung. Hierzu der Text aus unserer Shoots-Rubrik: Am 9. Februar 1998 fand bei WCW (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=4) Monday Nitro das Match Steven Regal vs. Bill Goldberg statt. Es war die Phase, in der Goldberg in jeder Show einen Wrestler in Sekundenschnelle wegsquashte. Genau das gleiche Schicksal sollte Steven Regal (heute William Regal) an dem Abend eigentlich erleiden. Die beiden waren schonmal bei einem WCW Saturday Night Match aufeinandergetroffen. Regal hatte Goldberg mehr abverlangt als andere Gegner, daher durften die Fans auf das Rematch gespannt sein. In dem Match hat Regal dann die Aktionen von Goldberg so gut wie gar nicht verkauft, normalerweise sollten die Gegner zu der Zeit seine Aktionen besonders theatralisch verkaufen. Er machte aus dem Kampf ein Matwrestling-Match, in dem Goldberg wegen seiner nicht vorhandenen Fähigkeiten logischerweise total alt aussah. Zudem zeigte er einige extrem harte Aktionen (z.B. viele European Uppercuts) gegen ihn. Höhepunkt des Matches war, dass er Goldberg in einen Schoolboy genommen hat. Am Ende hat er Goldberg dann doch gewinnen lassen, aber er hat ihn mit dem Match vollkommen blamiert und gezeigt, dass Goldberg nicht wirklich wrestlen kann. Nicht aufgefallen ist dies natürlich den deutschen WCW-Kommentatoren, die nichtmal bemerkten, dass Goldberg die ganze Zeit in Schwierigkeiten steckte. Wegen dieser Aktion wurde Regal sofort von der WCW gefeuert. Bei dem radikalen Schritt ist es schon schade, dass Regal nicht noch weiter gegangen ist, Goldberg beispielsweise zu pinnen. Die World Wrestling Federation (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=3) jedenfalls wurde durch diese Sache erst an Regal interessiert und man brachte ihn kurze Zeit als Real Man´s Man in die WWF-Sendungen.
