Anfang 1985 war Schultz zu Gast bei der ABC-Show "20/20". Stossel führte mit Schultz ein Interview über das Pro Wrestling, welches gerade seine erste Hochphase in Amerika erlebte. Stossel stellte Schultz die Frage, die kein Wrestler gerne beantwortet, nämlich die, ob Wrestling Fake ist. Schultz wurde plötzlich aggressiv und fing an, Schultz herumzustoßen und verpaßte ihm ein paar Schläge. Stossel verklagte danach Schultz und die World Wrestling Federation (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=3) (in der Schultz zu der Zeit angestellt war) auf Schadensersatz. Stossel gewann die Klage auch und ihm wurde eine Summe im unteren sechsstelligen Bereich zugesprochen. Schultz verteidigte sich vor Gericht damit, dass das WWF-Office ihn angewiesen habe, ruhig den Moderator etwas aufzumischen, sollte die Fake-Frage gestellt werden. Es sollte noch bemerkt werden, dass diese Sache Schultz´s Karriere weit zurückwarf und er es zu nichts Großem mehr im Wrestling Biz brachte. Es wurde nie klargestellt, ob das geschah, weil Schultz sich als PR-Alptraum herausstellte, oder weil er die WWF vor Gericht anschwärzte und bloßstellte, um sich selbst zu verteidigen.
