Die folgenden Ereignisse trugen sich am 25.03. in der Wrestlinggeschichte zu:
Ereignisse
2001: Einen Tag vor der allerletzten Ausgabe von WCW (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=4) Monday Nitro wurde bekannt, dass Shane McMahon (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=124), Bruce Prichard (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=2677) und Gerald Brisco (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=1408) bei der Show in Panama City Beach, Florida anwesend sein werden und dass die komplette Show von der World Wrestling Federation (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=ligen&liga=3) neu geschrieben werden würde, da die WWF eine Zusammenschaltung von RAW und Nitro per Satellit plante, um der Welt zu verkünden, dass die WWF die WCW gekauft hat. Es war schon klar, dass es die letzte WCW-Sendung auf einem Turner-Sender sein würde. Der ursprüngliche Plan einer "Night Of Champions" wurde beibehalten, aber Eric Bischoff (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=248) war nicht mehr dabei, obwohl er das die Woche zuvor noch angekündigt hatte. Bischoff hatte zuvor versucht, die WCW mit einer Gruppe von Investoren zu übernehmen. Als rauskam, dass die WCW ihre Sendeplätze auf TNT und TBS verliert, kam man aber nicht mehr zu einem Vertragsabschluß.
2002: In einer historischen RAW-Ausgabe begann der Roster Split, indem zwanzig Wrestler bei RAW für die einzelnen Sendungen ausgewählt und der Rest danach im Internet auf wwf.com ausgelost wurden.
