NWE Touren 2008 (Kishi, Booker T, Sabu, Ultimo Dragon)

Viel Wrestling gibt es in Spanien ja nicht gerade, aber nachdem TNAW (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=shows&sort=liga&liga=7) im letzten Jahr zumindest schon mal im Nachbarland Portugal für zwei Shows vorbei guckte, kommt nun die italienische NWE (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=shows&sort=liga&liga=400) mal vorbei. Eigentlich ist das noch harmlos ausgedrückt, denn aktuell sind für das Jahr 2008 ganze 13 Shows auf der iberischen Halbinsel und den dazu gehörigen Inseln geplant. In Italien veranstaltet man dieses Jahr dafür gar keine Show, so wie es jetzt zumindest aussieht. Offenbar hat man den italienischen Markt in den letzten Jahren, während des großen Wrestlingbooms dort, genug ausgeschlachtet und zieht nun weiter.

Der Booker für die amerikanischen Talente bei NWE ist kein geringerer als Rikishi (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=91), der natürlich auch selbst in den Ring steigt, unter dem Namen Kishi. Aber auch sonst hat die NWE jede Menge ehemalige WWE- und WCW (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=shows&sort=liga&liga=4)-Superstars zu bieten gehabt. Amtierender Champion ist mit Romeo Roselli (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=1102) nicht umsonst eine Hälfte der Heart Throbs. Aber auch Wrestler wie der Último Dragón (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=417), Vampiro (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=28), Billy Kidman (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=23) und Juventud Guerrera (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=95) waren schon Teilnehmer an den Touren durch Italien und die südliche Schweiz. Aber auch deutsche Wrestler wie Ecki Eckstein und Eric Schwarz (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=2529) waren durchaus schon mal Teil der Show. Neben dem ein oder anderen italienischen Wrestler bilden aber vor allem die Engländer wie Pac (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=2606) und Darren Burridge (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=2852) das Fundament der Liga.

Das erste Mal wird sich die NWE bereits im April auf den Weg nach Spanien machen und zwar für die "USA Catch Tour". Die Hallen in Madrid und Bilbao sind für die beiden Termine bereits ausverkauft und mit dabei sein werden unter anderem der Träger des NWE World Heavyweight Title (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=titles&titel=936)s Romeo Roselli, der erste Champion Black Pearl (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=1751), der aktuelle TNAW-Star Booker T (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=34), der selbstverständlich von seiner Frau Sharmell (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=997) begleitet wird, die Hardcore Legende Sabu (http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=32), Puroresu Legende Ultimo Dragon und die ehemaligen WWEler Chris Masters und Juventud Guerrera.

Wenn man dann im Juni für zwei Tage auf den kanarischen Inseln veranstaltet, werden sicherlich auch einige bekannte Gesichter mit dabei sein, aber bisher sind noch keine Wrestler angekündigt. Wer allerdings gerne auf den Kanaren Urlaub macht und das mal mit Wrestling verbinden will, der sollte schon mal buchen. Am 13. Juni gibt's eine Show auf Gran Canaria und am 14. Juni eine auf Teneriffa. Zwei Wochen später startet man dann die große Festlandstour, bei der man nicht selten Open Air in den großen spanischen Stierkampfarenen veranstalten wird. Für diese Shows ist bisher noch Kishi angekündigt, aber auch hier werden sicher einige große Namen zu erwarten sein und auch das würde sich sicher für einen Urlaubstrip anbieten. Die große Abschlussshow gibt's am 13. Juli in er Stierkampfarena von Palma de Mallorca.

- Vor dem Main Event lästerte Orlando Jordan über den Ultimate Warrior, als plötzlich die Lichter ausgingen und der Warrior auf der Leinwand auftauchte. Er sei zwar nicht anwesend, aber dafür habe er einen Freund da und heraus kam Rob Van Dam.
