Exklusivinterview mit Cassidy Riley
What are your thoughts on the NWA World Heavyweight Title change at the BCW show?
In my opinion it makes your house shows mean something. People who watch other major wrestling companies usually only see a title change on a PPV . Now if your a fan you want to come to a local show because you never know what will happen. And Jeff Jarrett is a great wrestler .

Will TNAW have more angles like this at independent shows - or will they even begin to promote house shows?
I think you will see us start to run house shows. Hopefully real soon, there has been some rumors that we may start real soon, I hope we do. It will be good to give the boys more work, and help get our product out there for the fans. Our live show is uncomparable.

Are you anxious to see yourself on SpikeTV? How do you think will it influence your future?
I am anxious to see the company there, and as well as myself. We have worked hard to get there, all of us. I hope that it will keep me busy with more independent show bookings.

Which other promotions do you wrestle for at the moment?
I wrestle all over. Georgia Championship Wrestling (GCW), USA Championship Wrestling and any where else that will have me...lol

Who came up with your current TNAW gimmick as Ravens lackey? Do you use it in other promotions, too?
The creative team came up with it. I do use it sometimes at other promotions , but will use it full time after we go on Spike TV

Are you satisfied with the gimmick?
Yeah I like it, I would like to make a few minor changes such as in the wardrobe, just a few minor things. Overall I am satisfied, and think it is going to be real fun.

Is Raven telling you how to improve your performance and if yes, what was the best advice he has given you?
He always has advice on how to improve, and not just to me. He has advice on everything, and everybody *lol*

Are you still payed for every show you do or have you signed a long-term contract with TNAW?
I have signed a contract, as a matter of fact last week I signed a new deal : )

Were you ever offered a WWE development contract?[b]
No, I never persued any negotations with them. I am happy at TNAW, I think it is a good place for me to be now. Not to say that I never would.

[b]And how did you get into TNAW?

Jerry Jarrett was scouting talent before the company ever opened, and came to a show in Nashville that I was on. After my match he came and asked me if I would be interested in working for the company, and myself and Chase Stevens were asked to come on board as the HotShots. We were already tagging as the HotShots and the first show in Nashville they did we were on.

Was that Bert Prentices USA championship wrestling?
Yes it was.

Why were the HotShots dissolved after your NWA-TNA run in 2002?
I´m not sure... we were given some time off and in that time I was back in Louisiana and Chase was in Nashville, thats where he and Andy Douglas started to tag and it just took off for them.

What did you do during your hiatus from TNAW?
Stayed at home and spent time with my wife, and really tried to overhaul my body and get in better shape.

Do you have any plans or dreams to achieve, like wrestling in a certain arena or wrestling against a special person?
I would like to wrestle everywhere. I hope to win several major titles with in the next few years.

Do you think you will be a contender in the X-Division or rather in the heavyweight division?
That is my strength. I can wrestle all styles, X-division, heavyweight, and have alot of tag team experience. Wherever I get the chance, I will make the most of it.

Have you ever wrestled the new TNAW signees (Roderick Strong, Austin Aries...)?
No, I have not.

Are there plans for you to wrestle them in TNAW?
I am not sure, I just show up to work and do what is asked of me. I think I could work well with either one of them.

Most fans over here don´t know that you have had sucessfull tag teams, who would you like to team with in TNAW?
I think that you will see me tagging with Raven in the real near future, and that will be fun I am sure.

Could you have a programm against America´s Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm)?
Sure, I think that would be a likely possibilty since thay caused him the Title.

*laughs* Do you know your storylines in advance??
I don't at all. I usually don't even know who I am wrestling aginst untill the day of the show. That's the truth I promise.

Thank you very much for this interview!
I would like to say thanks for doing the interview with me, I enjoyed it and look forward to doing another one soon. I also would like to say to the fans thanks for the support, and to visit my website www.cassidyriley.com and I am also available for bookings through the website, just e-mail me under the contacts section on the main page.

Die wichtigsten drei Wrestler des Jahres 2004 waren Kensuke Sasaki, Chris Benoit und L.A. Par-K. Doch warum?

... aufrufen
