1.How did you get into the wrestling business and into WCW?
Through my acting
agent.
2. Were you a wrestling fan growing up?
Yes, my favorites were Flair, Andre the
Giant, George the Animal Steele, Junk Yard Dog, and Jimmy Superfly Snuka.
3.Describe the gimmick "Daffney" in a few sentences!
Psycho, screamy, goth
chick.
4.Did you invent it?
Parts of her.
5.Whose idea was the screaming? Ed Ferrara told me to bite Jerry Only in the
nose and then run down the hall and scream as loud as I could. I asked, "Are
you sure you want it as loud as I can?" He said yes. I did, they liked it.
So I started doing it all the time, especially when I was ringside.
6.You've been in WCW shortly before it closed - in your mind, which mistakes may have led to the demise of this company?
Maybe poor booking, spending
money needlessly...
7.What is the difference between the characters Daffney and Lucy? Lucy is
more sultry, vampy, and speaks in a sexy voice. Daff was kooky, crazy and
did lots of screaming.
8.You recently competed in Rob Black's XPW. How did you like working there and how did you get into XPW?
I love it and I love being Lucy.
9.What was the backstage atmosphere like?
Family-like. Everyone respects one another and
wants to make this company the best it can be.
10.What was the highlight and the most disappointing moment in your wrestling career so far?
My top three best moments from WCW were: 1. Taking
the figure four from Ric Flair, then he pinned me to become the Champ for the
15th time. 2. Taking a piledriver from Terry Funk 3. Becoming
Cruiserweight Champion.
11.Many people donīt know that you grew up in Germany, please tell us
something about your expierences in Germany!
My father was in the Air Force and was stationed at Weisbaden when I was born. We moved when I was 6
months, but then we returned to Ramstein AFB when I was in 5th and 6th grade.
I tried to learn the language, but since we lived on base, and didn't go out
too much we got by with just knowing a little German. Ramstein was near
Kaiserslautern (K-town) and we would go shopping there and eat at German
restaurants because we all love weinersnitzel mit pommfrittes (please excuse
my spelling) I loved it there. We would go site seeing almost every
weekend. I've been to numerous castles, the Black Forest and ate so much
German chocolate I thought I would burst. Oh and my favortite wine is a
Reisling from the Rhine. The people there were so nice to you, and most
could speak some English which helped with the language barrier. I hope to
return someday to visit your beautiful country.
12. You've managed some great wrestlers in your career(e.g. David Flair, Crowbar, Vic Grimes), who is your favourite to have worked with?
I've only worked with Vic once so far. We are getting to know each other and
coincidentally, I was just watching a tape of his stuff. He's very talented.
Crowbar has probably been my favorite so far, because I've worked with him
the most and he's such a great guy.
13.What do you think of the current women's division in WWE?
I think they are doing a great job. The women's tag match last week was great, and last
night I saw the mixed tag with Hurricane & Trish vs. Stevie Richards &
Victoria which was awesome. All those women are so talented.
14.Do you see yourself as a wrestler or a diva?
I consider myself a
wrestling diva. But did you notice I didn't even make the hottie poll on
www.1wrestling.com? What's up with that? :( Oh well, I guess there is no
love for the goth girl.
15.What do you look for in a man? I already found him, my husband Rich Ward
from Stuck Mojo, Fozzy and Sick Speed. (www.richward.net &
www.fozzyrocks.com)
word association:
Lucy/Daffney: Two different people

Rob Black: The next big thing
Stacy Keibler: million dollar legs
